Study Visits

The IRE Secretariat can support actors from European regions with the organisation of study visits to other IRE regions in order to study issues related to regional innovation promotion. This can be a means to facilitate networking and paving the way for trans-regional co-operation. The study visits provide an opportunity to learn from the actions and experiences of other regions, to discuss issues of common interest with local players, and to collect ideas to be used in the implementation of specific projects.

The IRE Secretariat can support you with:

Identifying suitable host regions;
Undertaking necessary organisational arrangements between hosting and visiting regions;
Defining an agenda for the visit;
Any additional technical support required;
Travelling with the visiting delegation and offering continuous support during the visit.
