About the Project
Universities’ key role in knowledge-based societies is widely recognised. They are increasingly involved in regional development and establish links with industry – through technology transfer and spin-off activities, for example. The work of the IRE subgroup ’Cooperation and partnerships between business and science as an instrument for enhancing innovation’ will focus on the impact of the collaboration of regional agencies, universities and research centres with business in Europe.
