The Working Group 'Knowledge transfer between universities and enterprises' has published its final report.
'Knowledge Transfer Strategies for Regional Development and Competitiveness' is the title of the final report published by the IRE Working Group dealing with knowledge transfer. The report was produced after six meetings held by the group. It provides an overview of the way knowledge transfer activities have been developed through the policies of member regions and identifies key issues and barriers to effective regional knowledge transfer activities. The report offers solutions and policy suggestions supported by case study material for enhancing knowledge transfer activities. The aim is that the document will be of interest and of use to other regions interested in these issues and facing similar challenges.
