The COGNAC (Coordination of R&D&I policies and their coherence with other policies in the Newly Acceded Countries) project was launched in October 2006 with the participation from 8 regions: Styria (AT), Castilla y Léon (ES), Zlin Region (CZ), Kosice Region SK), South –Central Planning Region (BG), Malopolska (PL), North Hungary (HU) and North Great Plain (HU). The aim of the project is to support the regional dimension of the European Research Area by increasing the effectiveness and coherence of the R&D&I policies focusing on the public research spending and policy mixes and comprehensively the SMEs and research target areas. |
